January 2019 - Reading Pile

Hey guys! Another new beginning and I aim to get done what I start this time. So this time around, I have unconsciously chosen more romances than any other genres. Oops! maybe this is my mind's way of saying that I need to restart reading romances. I had kind of stopped last year because I had hit my saturation point at one time. Hope they do keep me interested and reading. I so want to kick Goodread's reading challenge's butt! Seriously!

Here goes my list of chosen books - very random. They are not listed in the reading order or anything. These are the ones which caught my attention when I was looking around to compile this list. I had actually picked around 17 books but decided to lessen the count at the last minute. Click on the book cover to go to the Goodreads page.

This is for a blog tour organised by Rachel Random Resources. Looking forward to it because it is about a haunting of vengeful spouse who doesn't like her husband to be married again! 

I got the ARC from Entangled and I really love this type of romance book. So it's right up my alley.

This is another read I had signed up for a blog tour by Inkslinger PR. I haven't received the ARC yet but it's similar to Brooks' book.

I actually bought this book on Amazon as soon as I read the blurb. A wake-up-call girl? I am intrigued! 

After a long time, I am reading a regency. I got it on Amazon. Hope it lives up to my hopes. Keeping my toes crossed!

Another blog tour from Rachel's Random Resources. I am quite looking forward to this one since it was touted as a mystery of sorts.

I seem to have joined 3 blog tours of Rachel's Random Resources. This is another I can't wait to try. New author and a regency to boot!

I actually came across this on Kindle Unlimited. Yay for me! I have tried to pick only a couple of LitRPG books this time. I tend to binge read that genre.

This was one book I had bought and ready to read when I got a review request from the author. So..I can't wait to sink into it. It seems to be quite interesting.

All the above three are in the YA genre. I have been craving some teen crazy! lol.. I got all of them on Kindle Unlimited.

Do you how many of Ashlee Mallory's books I have read and NOT reviewed? Too many. So this time, it goes onto my list and a boss romance. I am a sucker for it! I bought it on Amazon recently.

This is the other LitRPG I added to my pile and that's because Gaius, a reader friend, kind of recommended it. This too was bought on Amazon - a freebie I believe.

And the following two are not on the list. I actually read them last year but haven't gotten around to reviewing them yet. So I will do that this month.

Both of them were review copies.So I really need to apologise to the authors. I am really late reviewing them. I don't know what happened but the days moved on fast before I could realise that I had not finished my reviews. I feel so bad!

And I believe that's all for the list. I am looking to get ahead of my reading list this year!
