My Musings : 

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I went in knowing about the author's writing. So I wasn't surprised when this book too turned out a favourite of mine. I have it on my reread pile and I am so in love with the characters.

The characters were so realistically portrayed. I loved watching Jackson and Leila dance around each other. Their growing friendship added the details to form the complexity of their charaters while their chemistry was off the charts from the beginning. It was a sizzling read at times and an intense one at others. The supporting cast of Bennett , Nick and Donovan were too good in opinion and I am thinking their stories would be as good as this one! Their interaction and their friendship brought joy and laughter into the tale.

Add to that the writing which drew me in easily, you have an instant winner. The setting was good and it's another favourite of mine, reading sports related romances. So it was a win win situation on my end. It was a fast read and I can't say enough about the book!

And there was no dearth of mystery either. First with Jackson's reason for not committing which wasn't that much a secret to me and then with the totally shocking revelation at the end. Ouch, I never saw that coming and it kind of made me wary of Leila. But it all ended up well.

I have few more of the author's works to check out for me. I would recommend the author and her books to all romance lovers.
